Gambit and Virtus.pro exchanged match victories in Atlanta as the former took Nuke 16-12 while the latter clinched Train with a 16-9 scoreline.
Group F action in ELEAGUE Season 1 continued with two matches between Virtus.pro and Gambit. Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski and Paweł "byali" Bieliński opened things up for their T-sided team on Nuke and the Poles secured the pistol round. After losing the anti-ecos, Gambit replied in the first weapon round and then Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov clutched a 1vs1, giving his team their second round.
A fast Virtus.pro rush on the A-site was stopped by Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov & co. as they took the lead (4-3). The Polish team clinched a round to make it 8-4, stopping Gambit's eight round streak. Virtus.pro had a relatively successful Terrorist half and trailed 6-9 at halftime after picking up the last round with byali & Filip "NEO" Kubski's 2vs5 clutch.
hooch led his team in the first match
hooch's quad kill to kick off the second half gave Gambit their 10th round and the Russian team extended their lead to 13-6 after winning a 3vs5 in the fourth round of the second half.
pashaBiceps's double kill made it 14-7 and they followed it up with another round thanks to hooch's failure to kill the defuser, initiating a comeback effort (14-8). Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan's 1vs2 clutch gave Gambit five match points and they closed it out 16-12.

Train was the battlefield in the second match which saw Gambit start on the T-side. The Russian team lost the first three rounds of the map, just like in Nuke, but were able to secure the weapon round.
Virtus.pro didn't let Gambit take the following round, retaking the B-site and defusing the bomb (4-1). The back-and-forth half ended 8-7 in Gambit's favor.
TaZ woke up on Train
byali's triple kill in the second half pistol round tied the game and the Poles extended their lead to 11-8 after picking up the anti-eco rounds and the first weapon round where they won a 3vs5.
Virtus.pro won another 3vs5 to make it 13-8 and it wasn't long before they finished off the match. The Poles secured Train 16-9 and clinched the #2 seed in Group F.
